GREEN MOViES brings sustainability education to life through hands-on exploration, creative storytelling and stop-motion animation. Across five European countries, teachers and children take part in collaborative learning experiences that connect nature, science and digital creativity, transforming environmental discoveries into meaningful stories.

Through international workshops and blended learning, educators explore GreenComp, STEM and digital storytelling, developing practical skills to integrate sustainability, creativity and stop-motion animation into everyday teaching.

GREEN MOViES develops 20 scientific and educational briefings and an open toolkit for teachers, combining environmental knowledge, practical activities and creative methodologies to make sustainability education accessible, engaging and adaptable.
Discovering Nature
Through Experience.
Children explore the natural world through observation, experimentation and hands-on activities. These experiences encourage curiosity, cooperation and environmental awareness, providing the inspiration for stories that connect nature, science and imagination.
Turning Discoveries
Into Stories.
Guided by their teachers, children transform ideas into characters, scenes and narratives. Using simple materials and stop-motion techniques, they create short animated films that bring environmental themes to life through creativity, collaboration and digital expression.
Five Countries.
One Shared Story.
Classrooms across Italy, Portugal, Serbia, Türkiye and Greece contribute to a common narrative. The animations created by children will become part of a collective European stop-motion film, bringing together different perspectives in one shared message about sustainability.

Beyond the Classroom.
GREEN MOViES evaluates its educational approach and shares experiences, resources and creative outcomes across its European network. Through collaboration and open educational materials, the project aims to help more teachers bring sustainability, storytelling and creative learning into their classrooms.
